LEGO Minecraft the Nether Fortress 21122

Nine year old David loved to tell anyone who would listen all about Minecraft and the amazing things he built in his digital world. He also loved to build things in real life with his LEGO bricks. The day he saw the LEGO version of the Nether Fortress was the day this toy went to the top of his Wish List for his birthday.

It came as no surprise to anyone except David when he unwrapped the box that contained this building kit, and he was all smiles. As much fun as his birthday party was, David couldn't wait to open the box, spread out the bricks, and build it.

David's father was also a huge fan of these sets and had many of his own that he and David built together. Naturally, David asked his dad to help him, and it didn't take long before Minecraft's Nether Fortress came to life for him on his bedroom floor.

David and his dad spent hours playing with Steve and Alex. Sometimes the Ghast was a good guy, but more often then not the Ghast would destroy the building, forcing David and his father to build it again.

The Nether Fortress playset is a wonderful recreation of the same place found in the Minecraft video game! The playset includes many of the elements found in the game, including the Nether Portal, which is visible as a large, translucent, purple window near the lava.

As you might expect if you are familiar with these brick sets, there are hidden treasures for Steve to find. There are also little decorations taken right out of the game - mushrooms, Nether Quartz, and Nether warts - that die-hard fans will love seeing.

LEGO set 21122 is the perfect gift for anyone who enjoys creating things, as well as exploring the rich and immersive world of Minecraft. The similarity between the blocks in this set and the building blocks used in Minecraft make LEGO the perfect medium to bring this virtual world come to life!

This LEGO Minecraft The Nether Fortress 21122 review will discuss the features, pros and cons, and other aspects of this toy to help you make an informed buying decision.
